Publicado en Facebook el 9 de agosto de 2016:

«El otro día, el Instituto de Estudios Albacetenses me pidió unas fotografías -actuales y de época- para ilustrar los cuarteles y oficinas de las Brigadas Internacionales en Casas-Ibáñez durante la Guerra Civil. Os proporciono el enlace del mapa que han elaborado para que curioseéis y, sobre todo, aprendáis.

En Casas-Ibáñez, se apostó la XIV Brigada, integrada por franceses en su mayoría. Infantería y ametralladoras.

A diferencia de los pueblos vecinos -en los que se abrieron uno o dos centros de operaciones-, en Casas-Ibáñez funcionaron hasta cinco cuarteles/oficinas».
