Description

Num largo situado num extremo da aldeia de Selmes ergue-se majestosa a igreja matriz. De fachada simples, alva, possui duas torres simétricas. O interior espaçoso é composto de apenas uma nave, com o coro na parte de trás, por cima da entrada. Existem ainda quatro altares laterais e o altar-mor.

A igreja foi construida no século XVIII, tendo sido reconstruida a sua fachada em Novembro de 1874, depois desta ter caido em Novembro de 1817. <a href="http://www.cm-vidigueira.pt/conhecer/igrejas" rel="nofollow">www.cm-vidigueira.pt/conhecer/igrejas</a>
