Description

ARKIVDAGEN 2011, tema: PROTEST! Beskrivelse: Innlegg i språkdebatten på 1960-tallet. Illustrasjon fra skoleavis.

Riksmålsforbundet motarbeidet myndighetenes samnorskpolitikk og obligatorisk opplæring i nynorsk, og ville bevare og dyrke riksmål som det tradisjonelle standardskriftspråket i Norge. Foreldreaksjonen mot samnorsk ble organisert av Riksmålsforbundet i 1951. Den samlet inn nesten en halv million underskrifter mot samnorsk.

Riksmålsforbundets arkiv ble gitt som gave til Riksarkivet i 2007.
