Description
Føroyskt: Kirkjan í Haldarsvík var upprunaliga bygd í 1854-56 og vígd 2. sunnudag í advent 1856. Hon var umvæld og útbygd í 1932 og vígd enn einaferð. Tað var presturin Carl Vilhelm Prytz ið teknaði kirkjuna, fyrimyndin var ein áttahyrnt barokkirkja á Frederiksberg. Torbjørn Olsen málaði í 1996 altartalvu til kirkjuna, sum kom í staðin fyri ta gomlu. Myndevnið er seinasta kvøldmáltíðin.
English: Haldarsvík is a village in the northern part of Streymoy, Faroe Islands. This photo was taken on 19 May 2013. Haldarsvík church was built in 1856 and rebuilt in 1932.
