English: Time-lapse microscopy imaging of intercellular transfer of mitochondria between mesothelioma cells connected via a TnT. We used MitoTracker Red to stain MSTO-211H cells which were then cultured in hyperglycemic, low-serum (“TnT”) medium. Cells were allowed to adhere and form TnTs, which were then identified for analysis. Images were taken every 20 min for 24 h using a Perkin–Elmer spinning-disk confocal microscope. |
