Description
Català: Representació del del complex policistina FPC en el cili primari.

(A) Un fluid de flux estimulat, produeix un estrés de tall mecànic que es transmet a la cèl•lula via les proteïnes de la membrana del cili, que conseqüentment activen els canals de calci com el PC2 i permeten que el calci entri i així, activi el receptor de ryanodine (RyR) i aquest flux de calci indueixen un mecanismo intracel•lular de senyalització. (B i C) Els malfuncionaments dels complexos proteïcs PC1/PC2 suprimeixen la senyal d’entrada del Ca++.

(D) Bloquejant el FPC pot disminuir la senyal de Ca++ degut a la modulació del complex de policsitna i la cascada dels efectors com el RyR, BB i el cos basal. X representen molecules desconegudes.
