Summary[edit]

Description

Interesting brick erosion on Cherry Street.

Bricks from several generations ago were often painted. Nowadays owners will strip off that paint, as painted bricks seem odd to modern day eyes. But many older bricks were just not expected to last without some kind of protections from the weather. This house is one of the examples from my neighbourhood where a building with painted bricks that is starting fall apart after the paint has been breached.
