Description
English: Iraqi Police (IP) officers patrol through downtown An Najaf, Najaf Province, Iraq (IRQ), the day after the Muqtada Militia peacefully left the Imam Ali Shrine. The IP are gathering weapons and are responsible for maintaining order as Najaf rebuilds after weeks of intense combat between the Muqtada Militia and Iraqi and US military forces.
