Iron Age Hinged bracelet or neck ring
Description
English: Incomplete segments of a two-part hinged copper-alloy probable bracelet of Iron Age date. The segments are D-shaped in section and gently arched in profile, both are decorated with incised lines and punched dots in sweeping arches. The hinge is made up of three lugs, one on one half of the fitting and two on the other which interlock, being originally joined by a now missing pin. The item has a mid-dark green patina.
