Description
English: An Iron Age silver unit of the Catuvellauni tribe, struck under Tasciovanos, dating to c. 25 BC to AD 10. 'Tasciovanos Warrior' type. The obverse depicts a bearded head left, cross of pellets in front. The reverse depicts a warrior riding right, pellatal sun behind, TASCIA below. ABC 2610, BMC 1667-68, S 230.
