Title
Iron Age to medieval vessel
Description
English: A collection of six pottery fragments, possibly Middle Iron Age shelly ware, dark grey frabric with finely crushed shell fragments, giving a speckled appearance. The fragments are small and unglazed; it is difficult with fragments of this size to tell if they are Iron age or other types of 'shelly ware', such as St Neots ware (Late Saxon) or medieval shelly ware (AD c. 1100 - c. 1400).
