| Description |
Deutsch: Talfahrend vor der Talstation, die ihren Namen von der vorbeiführenden Straße erhielt. Der Bogen entstand beim Neubau 1932, durch die Streckenverlängerung wurde der Umsteigeweg zur Straßenbahn günstiger und kürzer. Die inneren, über die gesamte Strecke reichenden Seile sind die Bremsseile des Seilbremssystems Pohlig, die die Wagen beim Bruch des Zugseiles auffangen. Wird das Zugseil schlaff oder steigt die Geschwindigkeit über einen Grenzwert, dann klemmen sich die Wagen an das dazugehörige Bremsseil, das in der Bergstation auf eine Trommel mit hydraulischen Bremsen aufgelegt ist und in der Talstation straffgehalten wird. Der Bremsvorgang ist damit deutlich schonender als mit Zangenbremsen, die den Schienenkopf umgreifen und die WEagenkästen werden nicht einseitig belastet. |
