Description
Deutsch: Eine klassische Gierseilfähre auf Fahrt zum orografisch linken Ufer, gegen die Strömung angestellt wird das Schiff mit zwei Winschen über ein Y-Gierseil. Die Straßenanschlussrampen sind in entsprechenden Winkeln angeordnet, damit trifft das Fährschiff immer im rechten Winkel darauf. Die Neigung der Steven ist an die der Rampen angepasst, bewegliche Fährbrücken sind nicht erforderlich. Klassische Ruder sind bei dieser Bauart jedoch nicht verwendbar.
