Deutsch: Von Bergbaupfad, der Kanal wurde im März 2021 nach nur sieben Betriebsjahren gesperrt und durch zwei Sicherungsdämme abgesperrt, weil in der Umgebung der Schleuse Risse im Erdboden entstanden. Wirklich intensiv werden die Arbeiten nicht betrieben, auch die Öffentlichkeit wird außer durch Absperrungen nicht weiter informiert. Detaillierte Informationen würden vielleicht sogar Verständnis bei den Bürgern auslösen, doch muss man den Eindruck haben, das hätte man im Pandemie-Ausnahmezustand nicht nötig. Die ursprünglich bis 31. Mai 2021 vorgesehene Sperrung nicht nur des Kanals, sondern auch beider Seen wurde Ende Mai auf unbegrenzte Zeit verlängert. Während um Senftenberg längst alle Zechenseen durch befahrbare Kanäle verbunden sind, erweist sich der Leipziger Gewässerverbund zumindest beim Stand 2021 als ausgesprochen erfolglos. |
