Recorded in the posthumous inventory of the collection in Antwerp of Herman de Neyt (1642), artist and dealer. (Perhaps) M. Simons, Amsterdam, c. 1771, according to Mols who recorded the picture as that engraved by C. Galle (see below) and measuring c. 7 pieds (= c. 220cm.) in width. Bequeathed to Stonyhurst College by W.T.B. Lund in 1891. |
