Annotation: on title page: "Leon. Schenk excudit"; on most of the plates: Israel ex(cud). By Leonardus Schenck (at Amsterdam 1719-67) edited of "Les misères et les mal-heures de la guerre, représentés par Jacques Callot ... et mises en lumière par Israel" (Paris, 1633). Gerrit van Schagen was "plaatsnijder en konstvercooper" at Amsterdam, 1677-88. Series of 18 numbered copper engraving with captions in French. The prints are mounted.
