Description
English: Jade bi from the tomb of the King of Chu Shizi Mountain Xuzhou Jiangsu Western Han Dynasty 2nd century BCE Nanjing Museum. The outer ring is incised with eight intertwined dragons. These disks representing courtly beauty and elegance were usually placed on top or below the body of the deceased or attached to the coffin as an ornament.
