Food in kuduas (earthen pots) - from Rosaghara temple kitchen? Somewhat resembling the Blessing of Easter Baskets (or Pascha Baskets - Пасхальная трапеза) traditions eg.: 1, 2, 3, at least at first glance... Prasad (also called prasada or prasadam) is a material substance of food that is a religious offering in both Hinduism and Sikhism. It is normally consumed by worshippers. The food, after being offered to Jagannath, is sold at Ananda Bazaar (Market of Pleasures) an open market located inside the Jagannath temple complex. Every day food for over 5000-10000 is cooked where in special occasions food for over 10 million people is cooked in Rosaghara#Cooking_space under supervision of Lakshmi Godess. Some say Jagannatha Prasad is so potent that merely by its taking one becomes spiritually enlightened. Regardless the spiritual powers - seems that earthly issues influence the divine preparations as well: "the water levels in 'Ganga' and 'Jamuna' wells inside the temple premises have fallen drastically posing serious problems in the preparation of Mahaprasad.
