Keiji Akahoshi, the Chief of Staff of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF); Rear Adm. Shinichi Tokumaru, the Commander of the Japan Training Squadron and Mr. Gene Castagnetti, the director of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific pay their respects as the National Anthems are played for both countries during a wreath ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 9, 2010. The junior officers of the JMSDF are on a training mission in which they will visit 16 ports in 12 countries in a span of 156 days and Hawaii was their first stop on this trip. |
