English: Illustrated title page. "Placaatboek 's Lands van Utrecht". Lady holding a stick and a bag (Phrygian hat?) presents charters in two boxes to a lady wearing a bishop's hat. Bishop's staff. Emperor wearing a crown and holding an orb and cross (globus cruciger). Rivergod. Lady with sheaf of corn. Lion. Tame falcon.
Nederlands: Verluchte titelpagina. "Placaatboek 's Lands van Utrecht". Vrouwe Justitia met zwaard en weegschaal. Keizer met rijksappel, vrouw met bisschopsstaf, lans en mijter, vrouw met stok en zak / muts biedt oorkondes in doosjes aan. Zegels. Vrouw met korenschoof, met tamme valk, met spa. Leeuw. Riviergod met liggend vat. Banderol: "non curamus vestros privilegios". Citaat Willem van Oranje Apologie, uitspraak toegeschreven aan Juan de Vargas, lid van de Raad van Beroerten of Bloedraad, als antwoord op protest bij ontvoering van Willems zoon van de Universiteit Leiden naar Spanje.
