Description
English: In September 1905, John Hay School opened on Boston Street in Seattle's Queen Anne Hill neighborhood. There were 325 students in grades one through seven. The school district renovated the building in 2004-2005. It is one of Seattle's few remaining wooden buildings designed by school district architect James Stephen.

This photo shows Seattle's John Hay School. The photo was probably taken in 1905, the year the school opened.
