Description
Deutsch: Im Sommer 1916 veröffentlichte Lepsius seinen berühmten dreihundertseitigen Bericht über die Lage des Armenischen Volkes in der Türkei. Darin beschreibt er deutlich, was ab Frühjahr 1915 vor allem in Anatolien geschah: eine staatlich geplante ethnische Säuberung, die unmittelbar, exekutiert von Organen eines jungtürkischen "tiefen Staats", in genozidale Maßnahmen umschlug. English: In the summer of 1916, Lepsius published his famous 300-page report on the situation of the Armenian people in Turkey. In it he clearly describes what happened from the spring of 1915, especially in Anatolia: an ethnic cleansing planned by the state, which immediately turned into genocidal measures, executed by the organs of a young Turkish "deep state".
