Description
English:  : József Attila elementary school. The Újdombóvár neighborhood established in the 1910s. First houses were built in 1919. The area was a donation by Miklós Esterházy for railway workers. The settlement was planned by Károly Saguly. After the settlement growing it necessery to built a school for the raiworkers' chlidren. In 1929 finished the school building , 279 pupils started here. Holy mass services held at the school and the tower used for belfry till 1934 the church (opposite to it) created (later the tower pulled down). Between 1930 and 1950 a nursery school was hosted here. - 36 Fő street, Újdombóvár neighborhood, Dombóvár, Tolna County, Hungary.
Magyar:  : József Attila Általános Iskola. 1920 és 1929 között a Talpfaüzem barakkjábán (ma Kórház u. 8?) tartották az oktatást. 1971-től az iskola neve 'III. számú Általános Iskola Újdombóvár' 2003-tól a József Attila Általános Művelődési Központ. 2013-tól a 'Dombóvári József Attila Általános Iskola' a neve.
