Description

Schönheide im Erzgebirge: Der Ortsteil Altes Wiesenhaus, allgemein kurz Altwiesenhaus genannt, liegt auf 572 Meter Höhe an der Zwickauer Mulde zwischen den Ortsteilen Schönheiderhammer und Wilzschhaus und wird von der der Bundesstraße 283 durchquert. Am Rand der Straße steigen nach Süden die Wälder steil auf bis auf eine Höhe von über 900 Metern. Nordöstlich liegt der Klöppelstein, ein aus dem steilen Hang herausragendes Felsmassiv von um 40 Meter Höhe.
