Summary[edit]
DescriptionKHM Hoenskatten 2016 (4).jpg |
English: The gold treasure found at Hoen in Upper Eiker in 1834 by Halvor Torstensen Kvernmoen. It is the largest gold treasure ever found in Norway - 2.5 kilos of pure gold in the shape of coins and jewelry, as well as 200 pearls of glass and precious stones. It was probably assembled in Frankish lands in the 860s/870s.
