Summary[edit]
DescriptionKai-tak 2012-08-13 1730Z.png |
English: Tropical Storm Kai-tak is forecast to bring more heavy rains to the Manila, Philippines area, hit last week with heavy flooding that affected millions of people. Kai-tak will move northwestward into the East China Sea in the next 12 hours into an area of decreasing wind shear. But lowering sea surface temperatures should keep intensification down before making landfall north of Hong Kong in a couple of days. This image was taken by MTSAT-2 at 1730Z on August 13, 2012. |
