Description
English:
Memorial place to Elisabeth of Austria other name Elisabeth of Austria prie-dieu (German: Johannesberg, Königin Elisabeth Betschemmel;... based on an old postcard inscription). The memorial place contains a prayer stool and a prayer image. As early as the 1800s, in the nearby, a picture of Virgin Mary hung on a large beech tree. After she died ( 1898 ) made the prayer desk in 1906 a bust of Elisabeth of Austria erected here. This last was stolen in 1933. The old/original painting and prayer stool even the the beech tree are disappered. The memorial place passed by blau 'The way of Mary' spiritual trail and blue circle short walking way - Located in the forest, close to Jánoshegyi Road, Budakeszierdő neighborhood, 12th district of Budapest.

Erzsébet-térdeplő már 1906-ban is létezett (egyéb nevei: Erzsébet királyné imazsámolya, Erzsébet-pihenő). Egy imazsámolyt és egy imaképet tartalmaz. A mai Jánoshegyi út mentén már az 1800-as években egy Mária imakép függött egy méretes bükkfán. Az imaszámolyt/emlékhelyet Erzsébet királyné rajongói/royalisták? készítették halála után. A közelében volt a Strobl Alajos készítette, horgany Erzsébet királyné mellszobor (Ellopták 1933, Felállítás 1906), a korábbi imakép és a,-fotók alpján, 1900 körül még meglévő,-bükkfa is eltünt. Az emlékhelye létesítését a királyné gyakori látogatásai ihlették (sic. az Erzsébet kilátó út emléktáblája szerint volt olyan év amikor 3-szor! is járt a környéken) Legenda? szerint egyszer,-hirtelen rossz idő miatt,- még egy szekérre is felszállt és azzal vitette le magát Disznófőig.
