Description
Deutsch: Idealisierte Darstellung des Staufers Heinrich VI. mit Reichskrone vor einem romanischen Fenster. Oben der einköpfige Reichsadler im Schild. Daneben drei goldene Löwen auf Rot und eine Triskele in Inkarnat auf blau in jeweils eigenen Schilden als Symbole der Herrschaft über das normannische Königreich Sizilien. Gestiftet vom Verein patriotischer Frankfurter Bürger. Das Gemälde ist Teil der Herrschergalerie im Kaisersaal des Hauses zum Römer im Frankfurter Rathaus und gehört zum Bestand des Historischen Museums Frankfurt am Main.
