Description
Scroll painting on silk, mounted on paper. This is then mounted on fabric with two narrow strips attached to a small wooden stick. The painting shows three woman and a child. To the right a European women (Mrs. Titia Cock Blomhoff-Bergsma) dressed in a long red dress with long sleeves. To the left another European woman (the wet nurse) (probably Petronella Muns) in a white blouse and a long skirt. With both hands she is holding a child (the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cock Blomhoff). In the middle a third woman (a Javanese servant).
