Description
Deutsch: VW Golf, gemeldet von Kamei Autoextras, Fahrer Bernd Renneisen und Wolfgang Wolf, beim 1000-km-Rennen auf dem Nürburgring (Foto in der damaligen Nordkurve). Nach Angaben auf der Kamei-Homepage leistete der Motor des Golf „über 175 PS“; Gewicht des Fahrzeugs „gerade einmal 750 Kilogramm“. Der Wagen beschleunigte in knapp 7 Sekunden auf 100 km/h und erreichte eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von rund 220 km/h. Der Golf entsprach dem Reglement der damaligen Gruppe 2: unter anderem viersitzige Karosserie, mindestens 1000 Stück in 12 Monaten gebaut, Serienherkunft erkennbar, Zahl der Nockenwellen und Ventile gegenüber Serienmodell unverändert, Kotflügelverbreiterungen maximal 5 cm
