Description Gunnery Sgt. Kenneth T. Deal with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires a GAU-21 .50-caliber machine gun as part of a simulated tactical air control party (TACP) exercise during Realistic Urban Training Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise 14-1 (RUTMEUEX) at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., March 26, 2014. RUTMEUEX will prepare the 11th MEU Marines for their upcoming deployment, enhancing their combat skills in environments similar to those they may find in future missions.
