Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The chapel of the United Methodist Church of Kent, located in Kent, USA. The altar table is adorned with an altar cross, in addition to two altar candlesticks containing altar candles. The center of the altar cross contain the letters IHS, a christogram, which stands for Iesus Hominum Salvator ("Jesus, Saviour of men" in Latin). The altar table is surrounded by altar rails, with a pulpit bearing the Chi Rho, visible in the background. Because this church is located next to the campus of Kent State University, its chapel is often visited by students and faculty, as well as others, for Christian prayer, and is thus open throughout the day.
