Pilisi Parkerdő/Pilisi Parkforest Co. welcome sign and National Park sign and boom barrier and Road closed to all traffic road signs - Quarrying in Dömös began on the side of Provost Hill in the direction of Kis-Bitterűs Hill in the second half of the 1800s with many accidents – due to the irregularity of the explosions. In 1880 it did not yet have a small railway, so it is difficult to transport the stone to the Danube. Quarrying ceased in the 1920s, although by that time transport was already well organized by the industrial railway. The stone mined here was mostly used to regulate the Danube. - After 1956, the rails were also dismantled. In their place, the park forest road began to be built as far as the valley leading to the Ram ravine.- Királykúti Street, Szőke Springs Valley, Dömös, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary.

Üdvözöljük a Pilisi Parkerdő területés és nemzeti park tábla +soropó. Mindkét irányból behajtani tilos (Kresz 40) ÉS 'Sebességkorlátozás - 30 km/h' közúti jelzőtábla. - Az 1950-es évekig a Királykúti utcában volt a dömösi bányavasút pályája. - Kb. 1970-es évek végén aszfalttal borították a Királykúti utat egészen a Rám-hegyi szoros bejáratáig, A község területén lévő erdők nagy része a Pilisi Parkerdő Gazdaság igazgatása alatt álló védett területté vált. - Országosan védett területnek számít a település teljes közigazgatási területe, mivel azt a Duna‐Ipoly Nemzeti Park teljes mértékben lefedi. A fokozottan védett természetvédelmi terület a település észak déli irányában vett középső területeit fedi le, kb. egyharmad arányban. A község déli területein a Visegrádi‐hegység erdőiben található 23 ex lege forrás, 1 ex lege földvár és 9 ex lege barlang. - 2024-ben a településen 35 db egyedi tájérték volt - Turistautak itt: zöld sáv Z (Pilismarót, községháza autóbusz megállóhely. – Szakó-nyereg – Dömös, hajóállomás.), sárga sáv S (Dömös, hajóállomás. – Dobogókő – Szentendre, HÉV végállomás.), piros sáv P (Csillaghegy – Dömös) info: turistautak.openstreetmap.hu/ info: sulinet.hu/oroksegtar/data/telepulesek_ertekei/100_falu/Domos/ - Komárom-Esztergom megye, Dömös, Szőke-forrás-völgy, Királykúti utca
