Ennetach mit Dominikanerinnenkloster Ennetach. Aquarell von N . Hug, 1805.

Inschrift der Karte:
Ennetach von der Morgenseite.

Daher werden gezählt 69. Bürger, von diesen 12. Maijer, und 57. Söldner in allem 386 Seelen, da ist eine alte schöne Kirche, und 2. Beneficiat, der Pfarrer aber wohnet, in der nahen Stadt Mengen, von wo auß er Ennetach als Filial besorget. Hie ist auch ein Anno 1333. klein erbautes Frauen Kloster des Hlg. Dominici Ordens, wo ißt 14. Frauen, und 7. Schwestern sich aufhalten, die eines guten Wandels, und sich vorzüglich mit der Handarbeith ernähren, indem sie nur einen Hof, und eine nur zum eigenen Gebrauch bestimmte Mühle besitzen, weilen auch da, eine schöne Herrschaftl. Mühle, an dem vorüberfließenden Lauchert Fluß stehet. Der Ort hat auch durch Büchseuche und Krieg vihl leiden müßen.
