View looking north along 2nd Avenue from Columbia. First battalion band N.G.W. in Knights of Pythias uniform rank parade. Picnic to Alki Point. M.V.B. Stacy house on corner built by J.T. Jordan. Stetson and Post Row beyond. First Methodist Protestant church, the ""Brown"" church. Built 1860; destroyed by fire June 6, 1889. Second church in Seattle.
