English:
World War I memorial by stone carver K. Fellner (1924 natural stone and concrete) It is a four-pillared structure, closed at the back, but open on three sides, with a fence between the columns. On its back wall there is a colorful relief depicting an angel with roses, leaves, a cap on the bottom, a rifle and a bayonet. The memorial plaque in the centre bears the names of the 30 victims. At the top of the chapel are decorations depicting Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Inscription on stone plaque: '1914-1918 In memory of our fallen heroes for their homeland, the village of Letkés.' + In the two side columns are names, in the middle column: 'Heroes/non-commissioned officers/(1 name)/infantrymen/(names)/Installed Jan 1, 1924'. - Bottom two lines: ~'It was made during the time of magistrates: notary István Mezey, judge Lajos Kis, treasurer József P. Kolos, juror József N. Kolos, and juror András Tóth' - Also there is a metal memorial plaque at the bottom: 'The chapel was made by the donation of landowner lords Gábor Szajkó and Ernő Szántó' - Located next to village hall, Dózsa Street (Route 1201), Letkés, Pest County, Hungary.
