Deutsch: Das Rathaus zu Lübeck. Serie I. (2.) Die Kriegsstube (Sitzungssaal des Bürgerausschusses). Ansicht nach Nordosten: Das Foto zeigt die von Skulpturen flankierte und einem Zierfenster mit klassischem Giebel bekrönte Tür zum Langen Haus (durch die in einem Gemälde von 1881 der Blick in den Verbindungsgang fällt, mit einem der damals neuen vierteiligen Fenster zum Markt) Rechts neben diesem Portal ist ein Kachelofen zu erkennen. In der Postkarte ist die Tür verschlossen. Im Vergleich mit dem Gemälde (das möglicherweise insgesamt alles zu hoch darstellt) wirken die Proportionen auch dadurch niedriger, weil im Foto vor der Tür Tischreihe und Stühle stehen und weil die Grenze zwischen Tapete und Raumdecke höher gesetzt ist, zu erkennen an den Fenstern – die freilich selber nicht auf beiden Gebäudeseiten gleich hoch sein müssen. |
