Description 29 May 2015 – Pittsburgh, PA – U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez (CENTER) talks to BoXZY co-creator and Kinetigear, LLC co-founder Joel Johnson (off camera) and Bernie Lynch (RIGHT) from the New App for Making it in America - Maker Professional Internship, as they tour the Center for Robotics' Planetary Robotics High Bay at Carnegie Mellon University. BoXZY is a rapid change desktop "Fab Lab" that does laser engraving and 3-D printing. Secretary Perez was introduced to several startups and makers who are partnering with the New App for Making it in America, which received a $3 million Workforce Innovation Fund grant from the Department of Labor in 2012.
