Description 29 May 2015 – Pittsburgh, PA – Bernie Lynch from the New App for Making it in America - Maker Professional Internship shares ideas with U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez after touring the Center for Robotics' Planetary Robotics High Bay at Carnegie Mellon University. Also sitting with her are first-generation college graduate Michael Begley (LEFT), and Kerf Case co-founder Ben Saks (RIGHT). Secretary Perez was introduced to several startups and makers who are partnering with the New App for Making it in America, which received a $3 million Workforce Innovation Fund grant from the Department of Labor in 2012.
