Title
LANCUM-033766: Early modern figurine, possibly of Napoleon
Description
English: Cast cu-alloy pipe tamper dating from the early modern period, probably around 1800-1900. The pipe tamper is generally in good condition with a bright gold patina and only very small patches of corrosion. The surface is rough to the touch and looks worn. The pipe tamper handle depicts a gentleman in late 18th/early 19th century attire and hat resembling images of the older Napoleon Bonaparte (which it might well be!).
