Description
English: One cuff, linen, Bucks bobbin lace, spotted net with border of circles and triangular patterns with infillings, cordonnet of heavy double thread This cuff is an example of Bucks point ground lace. The spot fillings in the net ground are called tallies, the coarser thread surrounding the inner motifs is called the gimp, the outer motifs show both honeycomb fillings and clothwork, and the cuff is finished with a picot edge.
