Lactarius clarkeae Cleland Image location: State Forest near Comboyne, New South Wales, Australia This was taken in a dense section of the Comboyne forest and was a single specimen. It was in a small clear area and growing through loose debry of old sticks and leaf matter. There were some odd species of wide leafed grass in the area. The soil looked rich and was damp. Used references: B. Fuhrer P102 Image 148 2008 ed.
