English: Lapatinib mechanism of action. Lapatinib acts on the PIK3/Akt and the Ras/Raf/MAPK
signaling pathway. Additionally, Lapatinib inhibits the expression of apoptotic inhibitor survivin to decrease the cancer cell's survival. Lapatinib reduces cell survival by blocking the PIK3/Akt pathway and cell proliferation by blocking the Ras/Raf/MAPK signaling path. |
