Description
English: The occasion was the award of the flag by the Washington Council for Patriotic Service to Alpine for buying more war bonds, per capita, than any other town in Washington. The girls holding the American flag are Mary, Kate (holding the pole, and Virginia (holding the tip of the flag) Clemans. There are also at least eight members of the Dawson family in the group .
