Late-Medieval lead weight
Description
English: Late Medieval lead pendant weight. It has an elongated shape with a pierced hole at the top of the weight by which it can be hung, the centre of the weight on both sides are enlarged . Known as a lentoid triangular-section weight with a hole at one end and was probably used of rindustrial purposes. The weight has a variety of uses being sinkers for fishing nets, form of plumb bob or sounding lead for use on ships.
