Title
Lead Toy from Muckton
Description
English:

Lead Alloy

Possible toy fragment. Cast flat fragment with vegetal relief texture on both its sides. It is suggested this may be part of a scenic tree, manufactured and sold alongside toy soldiers, farm animals and other items. The tree trunk would have been modelled three-dimensionally with a flat base to permit the tree to stand unaided, but branches and leaves were rendered two-dimensionally. Suggested date: Modern, 1920-1940.

Length: 21.4mm, Width: 18.7mm, Thickness: 2.4mm, Weight: 1.62gms.
