Description |
English: Lead biconical spindle whorl with central perforation, decorated on both sides. One side decorated with a quartrefoil or rose design made up of four love-heart shapes, the other with a two-tier octofoil design, the inner ring being of triangles, the outer of arches. The hole does not taper. Probably early-mid post medieval. Diameter 25.96mm, thickness 8.22mm, weight 23.28g. |
