| Description |
English: Vector length-contraction puzzler in (2+1)D shown as vector addition of the proper-length (blue-solid) with an "out-of-frame" correction vector (magenta) aligned with the velocity-vector (green) of the observer (or book-keeper) frame being used to define distances as well as simultaneity.
Note that this approach, interestingly enough, uses the (non-local) frame-invariance of proper-length to avoid dealing with more than one definition of simultaneity. |
