Serial No:- 12002 The Leopard 2 is a successful German Main Battle Tank of which over 3,400 were built. The 2A4 variant has served with over 14 countries worldwide. The Netherlands Army operated 445 Leopard 2A4s between the late 1980’s and the early 2000’s. This was the second vehicle delivered to the Netherlands and was previously on display outside Bernhardkazerne Barracks at Amersfoort, but is now operated by the Historic Collection of the Royal Netherlands Army. It is seen on display while on temporary loan to The Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset, UK. 26th July 2016 |
