Summary[edit]

Description
English: Plaque commemorating the 2017 inauguration of the artisan eco-village "Les Ateliers de Tyr" which promotes traditional crafts like glass blowing, pottery, glass painting and silkscreen printing in Phoenician design. Located in the middle of an orange orchard in Abassiyeh, near Tyre (Southern Lebanon), it was initiated by Maha al-Khalil Chalabi, a scioness from a feudal dynasty and UNESCO goodwill ambassador who founded the International Association to Save Tyre.
